That's me!!
My name is Pietro, I was born on January 15, 2000, I am an illustrator and I live in Brazil, specifically in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
When I was a child, at the age of 3, I walked everywhere with my children's books under my arms. In the square, in the supermarket, at lunch with my family, there I was, with my beloved books! Somehow the illustrations captivated me... They made me travel to different universes! I loved noticing each texture, each color, each expression and each detail of the drawings.
And then I started to make my first doodles at the age of 8, creating my own stories and traveling in my own universe. From that moment in my life, I never stopped drawing. I illustrated my first children's book at the age of 16, and then I started working with comics. After 2 years I decided to focus solely on the children's illustration market! In this career, I have already illustrated books from several countries! I have clients in Brazil, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Lebanon, my art travels all over the world!
My passion for children's illustration goes beyond just making beautiful drawings. I like to tell stories, I like children to identify with the characters and be enchanted by the details of the drawings. I like to work with textures and mixed techniques of manual and digital art!! I love to illustrate in a simple and fun way, or even reflective!! Children think, imagine, reflect, have fun, get hurt, get dirty, and being able to illustrate this is incredible!!
I find fulfillment in every project I do, whether it's literary, school or advertising!! Seeing a child smile when they see my illustration is the greatest achievement of my work!
